The Classes Beginners
Beyond Beginners Beyond Beginners will build on the basics, bringing the next level of steps and movements into play. A beyond beginners choreography will be taught during the term using these moves. Beginners classes required before progression to beyond beginners. Intermediate / Troupe Dedication and commitment to the dance are a basic requirement of troupe work along with the availability for rehearsals and performance. Accordingly, intermediate & troupe membership will be offered by invitation only. Private Tuition Individual or Small Group Private Tuition is available by Arrangement. Safe Dance Practice In accordance with safe dance practice, all classes will incorporate a gentle warm up and cool down segment. Work only at your own pace and within your own body’s capabilities. Advise your teacher of any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries. ( See the enrolment form ). Lesson Blocks Each teaching term will comprise an eight (8) week prepaid teaching block. Lessons are taught in blocks to ensure that all students receive the full course content concurrently and class flow is enjoyable and fun for all. In this way no one is slowed or disadvantaged with intermittent attendees constantly requiring “catch up” tuition . No casual attendance is offered. Enrolment in advance essential as class sizes will be limited. Return your enrolment ASAP to secure your spot in class. It is fully understood that everyone's lives produce the odd “emergency” now and then. If unforseen circumstances arise and a student is unable to attend a class, they may attend an extra designated Catch-Up Lesson provided at the end of each term. Any further missed lessons will be forfeited. Students who have attended all 8 lessons may also attend the Catch -Up Lesson, FREE of charge as a BONUS for good attendance. Class CD ( Fully APRA / AMCOS / ARIA Licensed )As an introductory offer, the first Beginner's Lesson Block Fee includes a free Class Tutoring CD, containing a compilation of Belly Dance music for class practice. Thereafter, class tutoring CDs may be purchased at $10 each. What to Wear - What to Bring Wear loose comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement, eg. soft track pants or full skirt. Wear a hip scarf or coin belt so that movements can be better felt. Your choice of covered or bare midriff. Bring a bottle of water. “Dance
